Training for the week 2/27 through 3/4 was easy and light.
Goal was to recover from racing Hyannis Marathon and give the mental game a break, and that’s exactly what I did.
Mon: 2 miles, keep-the-streak-alive easy – road
Tues: 5.65 miles, easy social – road
Wed: 2 miles, keep-the-streak-alive easy – road
Thurs: 4.5 miles, easy – snowy road
Fri: 5 miles, semi-tempo – icy road
Sat: 15 miles, social – snowy road
Sun: 6.5 miles, social – road
Total miles: 40
Goal for the coming week will be to get in some more quality than last week. Really, I’ll do what ever the heck I please, be it running hard or easy or both. I’m feeling recovered from Hyannis physically but want to chill a week or two more to give the mental game the rest it needs.
